A peculiar glowing object seen in the sky over parts of NSW last night has raised curiosity among stargazers about what the event might be.
However, it seems that a UFO was not present in our skies, but it can be attributed to one of two rockets launched by China yesterday.
Residents in Sydney and along the NSW Central Coast reported observing a bright aircraft around 8pm.
ANU Space Expert Brad Tucker informed 2GB’s Ben Fordham that its appearance was somewhat unexpected.
“It was basically exhaust from the second rocket that China launched yesterday,” he remarked.
China launched two rockets yesterday, with one, the Long March 3B, likely being the source of the visible light last night.
